Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations: Handle accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.

  • Project Cost Control: Monitor expenses, track budgets, and ensure cost efficiency across construction projects.

  • Payroll & Subcontractor Payments: Process staff salaries, subcontractor invoices, and petty cash claims.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly closing reports, cash flow statements, and management accounts.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Singapore's accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, auditors, and internal teams for payment arrangements and reporting.

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in construction.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, IFCA, QuickBooks, or similar).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.

  • Good communication skills for coordination with project managers and external stakeholders.
