SME Manager - North Metro

Your Role

The SME Manager - North Metro, leads and coaches BDEs, Jr. BDEs, SEs, and BMs in driving RME loan sales and cross-selling bank products. The role oversees client engagements, account approvals, team performance, compliance, and execution of strategies to achieve business targets and KPIs.

Your Impact

• Ensure that the team meets its targets on loan accounts through evaluation and recommendation of potential business loan proposals.
• Reviews and recommends loan applications within the scope of unit's authority and endorses the same for decision of appropriate authorized limit for.
• Ensure that existing Team's Loan portfolio are duly monitored in terms of payments and maturities, and renewals are presented within an acceptable period to avoid delinquency of accounts.
• Ensures that team is in order and is in adherence with bank policies & standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitors the performance of each BDE to ensure achievement of the units objective Renders reports to management of the team's performance and problem areas
• Exercises administrative control and supervision of its line officers with respect to work assignments, employee's performance, training, promotion, attendance, and strict compliance to bank's policies and procedures.
• Devises sales materials and strategies and ensures equitable assignment to distribution personnel/ channel.
• Accompanies the Business Development Executive on client calls to have knowledge of the business of the potential borrower prior to the preparation of the Application for Accommodation (AA). If applicable, coordinates with Business Development Executive and
• Responsible for ensuring that operating policies, procedures and standards are compliant with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Ensure that any findings of Compliance Review, BSP onsite examination and Internal Audit are resolved within the agreed timeline.

Your Profile

• Graduate of any relevant four-year course
• Must have banking /financial services experience
• Strong background in bank lending, account management, and credit evaluation gained from a reputable bank is an advantage
• Candidate must have strong strategic thinking, leadership, and people management skills
