About the role
Our client is a BSP-regulated digital bank scaling our SME and partner-originated lending business. We move fast, we use data, and we're building credit infrastructure that didn't exist in traditional banking. This isn't a legacy bank role, they expect you to be comfortable with AI-assisted workflows, changing policies, and tight turnaround pressures.
They are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Officer to join our SME Lending team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end credit evaluation of SME and partner-originated loan applications, ensuring recommendations are sound, compliant, and aligned with our credit risk appetite. This role works closely with partner fintechs and loan originators under Third-Party Reliance (TPR) arrangements, and may also support consumer, auto, and BNPL credit portfolios as needed.
Who thrives here
You've lived inside a fast-paced fintech or digital bank. You're not afraid of ambiguity. You make sharp credit decisions under pressure, and you know how to write a CER that stands on its own in a credit committee. You're curious about how AI and automation can improve the way credit teams work and you're ready to help build that.
