Your Role
The SME Banking Head is responsible for the increase in business from the retail SME segment specifically on loan packaging.
How you can contribute
- Ensures that the bank meets its targets on loan accounts to Retail SMEs through evaluation and recommendation of potential business loan proposals
- Ensures smooth flow and interface of all function of the unit by constantly monitoring and supervising respective Account Managers (Relationship Managers)
- Reviews and recommends loan applications within the scope of unit's authority and endorses the same for decision of appropriate authorized limit
- Ensures that delivery of credit needs are within the standard turn-around time set to satisfy requirements of customers
- Ensures that loan portfolio targets are met
- Exercises administrative control and supervision of its line officers with respect to work assignments, employee's performance, training, promotion, attendance and strict compliance to bank's policies and procedures
Your Profile
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce, Banking & Finance or its equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of proven business development and account management experience
- Experience in commercial/SME lending is an advantage
- Highly driven and independent with strong initiatives
- Motivated and target-driven
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
