About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSite Reliability Engineer (SRE)with a strong focus onfront-end application performance and reliability. In this role, you will ensure the scalability, availability, and responsiveness of ourweb and mobile user-facing platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences by implementing robust observability, automation, and security practices.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize front-end performancefor web and mobile applications, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.
Design, implement, and maintainscalable and resilient systemssupporting front-end services.
Monitorclient-side and edge performance metricsusing tools likeGrafana, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
Collaborate with front-end developers toimprove application architecture, reduce latency, and enhance rendering efficiency.
Automate operational workflows and integrate performance checks intoCI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolveproduction issues impacting user experiencewith minimal downtime.
Implementobservability best practicesfor front-end services, including Real User Monitoring (RUM) and synthetic testing.
Manage and optimizeWeb Application Firewalls (WAF), particularlyAkamai, to ensure security without compromising performance.
Support and maintainAPI Management (APIM)platforms for secure and efficient API delivery.
UtilizeRedis Cacheand other caching strategies to improve front-end responsiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as anSRE or Performance Engineerwith a focus onweb and mobile front-end applications.
Strong understanding ofbrowser rendering, CDN optimization, and front-end performance tuning.
Hands-on experience withmonitoring tools(e.g.,Grafana, AppDynamics, Prometheus) and front-end observability practices.
Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform:Azure or GCP.
Experience managingWAF solutions, especiallyAkamai.
Familiarity withAPI Management platforms(e.g., Azure APIM, Apigee, Kong).
Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g.,Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, Go).
