Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our services. This role requires a strong technical background and a passion for automation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Develop automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Conduct root cause analysis for service interruptions and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure high availability of services.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-12 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
