Site Manager
- Location: San Marcelino, Philippines
- Duration: 16 Months Contract
The company is currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to support new renewable energy projects in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Project Manager based in the home office and take overall responsibility for site supervision of power plant construction and erection activities.
- Manage and coordinate the site team, including civil, structural, and electrical site engineers.
- Supervise the EPC contractor's construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, drawings, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and coordinate with the project team to resolve site-related matters.
- Oversee site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements and ensure compliance with applicable standards and project procedures.
- Monitor and manage site QA/QC procedures, including inspections, documentation, material receiving, handling, storage, and installation.
- Coordinate with the EPC contractor, client, consultants, and other project stakeholders throughout the construction phase.
- Prepare and review site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other relevant project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in site management, construction, and erection works for power plants or other complex industrial construction projects.
- Previous experience in solar PV and/or BESS project construction is required.
- Strong experience in managing HSE requirements during construction.
- Hands-on experience with site QA/QC procedures, material receiving, inspection, handling, and storage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary site teams.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
