Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Civil Engineer to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work efficiently with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Verify that construction works are executed according to approved designs and engineering standards.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to the project timeline, budget, and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor work progress and productivity, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient project execution.
- Oversee on-site activities, including construction management, quality assurance, and basic surveying tasks.
- Review and evaluate contractor accomplishments in comparison to submitted billing and progress reports.
- Maintain detailed records of changes, deviations, or construction issues and ensure proper documentation and communication.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly site reports to keep management informed of project status and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, or a related field
- Must be a licensed Civil or Geodetic Engineer (PRC Registered)
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory or site engineering role within the construction or land development industry
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, land development, surveying, and project management principles
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software is a plus
- Willing to be assigned on-site in San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan
