Job Summary
FULL TIME - REMOTE
The Site Builder is responsible for assembling and maintaining WordPress websites using established tools, templates, and processes. This role focuses on content implementation, template updates, quality assurance, and supporting project delivery in collaboration with Project Managers, Designers, and Developers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and update WordPress websites using existing templates, tools, and final coded designs
- Create and edit landing pages, content pages, and single-template redesigns
- Add and manage content within WordPress, including custom fields (ACF) and backend formatting
- Incorporate graphics, infographics, images, and other visual elements into webpages
- Perform detailed website QA using in-depth checklists to ensure accuracy, functionality, and consistency
- Conduct spell checks and verify accuracy of critical client information
- Assist with site evaluations and recommendations for redesigns
- Support post-launch fixes and updates in coordination with the development team
- Help scope projects by contributing to quotes, timelines, and effort estimates
- Complete tasks assigned by the Director and Project Managers in a timely and organized manner
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth execution, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with WordPress websites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and follow direction
- Demonstrated ability to support team goals and contribute positively to group outcomes
