Your Role:
As a
Remote Site Compliance Auditor, you will:
- Initiate and manage audit requests with Commission Agent franchise owners under the United Petroleum Commission Agent Agreement.
- Collect required documentation, including payroll methods, employment agreements, visa documentation, BAS, PAYG, superannuation remittance, and payroll reports.
- Maintain professional communication with all Commission Agents to ensure timely, complete, and accurate submission of documentation.
- Access and review the Deputy scheduling system to confirm employee details, employment status, pay rates, and rosters.
- Cross-check Deputy data against documentation to verify timesheets, payslips, pay rates, and roster compliance.
- Identify discrepancies, risks, or payroll practices that may not comply with workplace laws or United Petroleum requirements.
- Review documentation for compliance with the Fair Work Act, Award requirements, visa work-right conditions, superannuation legislation, ATO reporting, and the Commission Agent Agreement.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing reviewed information, Deputy data assessments, identified discrepancies, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Submit completed reports to the National Compliance Manager within required timeframes and maintain accurate audit records.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables- Experience in compliance, auditing, payroll, HR, or administrative review roles.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, employment legislation, and workplace compliance.
- Ability to interpret rosters, timesheets, payslips, and pay-rate structures.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Preferred skills/expertise- Experience using Deputy or similar scheduling/payroll software.
- Experience in retail, fuel, or franchised business environments.
- Knowledge of ATO payroll reporting tools, including STP and BAS.
- Adaptability to updated compliance requirements or audit processes.
