Job Summary:
The Site Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in the acquisition of new sites for the company's expansion, focusing on securing locations for business operations. This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and contractors, to ensure the timely and efficient acquisition of properties for the company's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify potential sites for acquisition in the assigned territory.
- Manage the entire site acquisition process, including site evaluation, negotiation, and final agreements.
- Coordinate with local authorities and property owners to ensure all legal requirements and zoning laws are met.
- Perform site inspections and assessments to ensure properties meet the company's needs and standards.
- Negotiate lease terms, easement agreements, and purchase contracts.
- Maintain up-to-date records of site acquisition progress, contracts, and related documents.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., legal, engineering, and construction) to facilitate smooth site acquisitions.
- Ensure that all site acquisitions align with company goals, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on site acquisition status and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in site acquisition, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned area (80% fieldwork).
