Onsite – Baguio City, PH

  • Ensures that demand flowing to the site are aligned to monthly Demand Meeting Flow Downs. Ensures that the site understands demand changes and scenarios that need to be analyzed and balanced through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, including Blue Sky or New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements. Identifies and escalates inconsistencies in demand to the SIOP Manager, Demand Management and Program Management and follows-through the resolution of the gaps.
  • Recommends constraint parts for Supply Chain, Inter Plant Ordering (IPO) Planning and Operations to review. Understand the gaps to ensure that the Master Production Schedule (MPS) is altered making it an achievable plan.
  • Collaborates with the SIOP Manager to ensure that consensus and a signed-off plan is achieved in Demand Reviews and that escalations are made to the End to End (E2E) Supply Chain when necessary.
  • Leads the site in what-if, rate readiness assessments and demand ramp-up simulation requests. Provides result summary in hours, labor, machine, facility and others as required to the Site Senior Leadership Team.
  • Understands the inventory plan and ensures that this is considered in the planning and capacity analysis when balancing the process.
  • Develops and maintains the Aircraft Group (AG) and Aircraft Control Components (ACC) MPS of top level parts that would support hours generation, On Time Delivery and safety stock generation. Ensures that the MPS in the operations relevant range is balanced to the IBP consensus. Collaborates with Supply Chain, IPO Planning and Operations to ensure that MPS is an achievable plan. Conducts re-plan if MPS is out of balance. Provides weekly MPS reports.
  • Ensures that periodic capacity reviews are conducted and a valid capacity package is available to be used in capacity meetings and in the determination of the site resource requirements. Collaborates with other departments to provide key capacity data to Lead Planners.
  • Recommends and balances labor requirements as a result of the periodic capacity reviews. Ensures that the site acts on the labor recommendations.
  • Identifies the site's overloaded work centers. Ensures that the site acts on the overloaded condition.
  • Develops and maintains site and Business Unit (BU) capacity tools.
  • Supports audits by internal and external auditors as well as customer audits that are in line with master scheduling and capacity.
  • Writes standard process documentation on master scheduling and capacity analysis in conjunction with the SIOP Manager.
  • Act as an internal educator and consultant for Material Requirements Planning (MRP), master scheduling and capacity planning in conjunction with the SIOP Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business or Technical
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Materials Management experience
  • Operations experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) and detailed understanding of specific systems used in Moog
  • Excellent quantitative analysis of business problems and proficiency to quickly develop expertise in the use of spreadsheet and scheduling/capacity planning software
