About the Role
We're hiring a Short-Term Rental Operations Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations across a growing portfolio of vacation rentals.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll manage guest experience, coordinate vendors, and ensure properties run smoothly. You'll also play a key role in improving processes, systems, and overall performance.
What You'll Do
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily operations across multiple properties
- Manage guest communication and handle escalations
- Act as the main point of contact for urgent in-stay issues
Vendor & Property Coordination
- Coordinate cleaners, maintenance teams, and vendors
- Ensure quality through checklists and documentation
- Maintain consistent operational standards
Listings & Performance
- Manage and update listings (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, direct channels)
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews
- Track KPIs like response time, ratings, and operational efficiency
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows and SOPs
- Support listing updates based on seasonality or property changes
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in short-term rental or property management
- Hands-on experience with tools like Guesty, Hospitable, or Hostaway (Guesty is a plus)
- Strong ability to manage guest escalations and make decisions independently
- Excellent written English with a professional, empathetic tone
- Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable working EST hours with occasional urgent after-hours support
Nice to Have
- Experience managing multi-property portfolios
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, or ClickUp
- Experience with pricing tools (PriceLabs, Wheelhouse)
- Background in boutique or hospitality operations
