About the Role

We're hiring a Short-Term Rental Operations Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations across a growing portfolio of vacation rentals.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll manage guest experience, coordinate vendors, and ensure properties run smoothly. You'll also play a key role in improving processes, systems, and overall performance.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple properties
  • Manage guest communication and handle escalations
  • Act as the main point of contact for urgent in-stay issues

Vendor & Property Coordination

  • Ensure quality through checklists and documentation
  • Maintain consistent operational standards

Listings & Performance

  • Manage and update listings (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, direct channels)
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews
  • Track KPIs like response time, ratings, and operational efficiency

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows and SOPs
  • Support listing updates based on seasonality or property changes

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in short-term rental or property management
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Guesty, Hospitable, or Hostaway (Guesty is a plus)
  • Strong ability to manage guest escalations and make decisions independently
  • Excellent written English with a professional, empathetic tone
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Comfortable working EST hours with occasional urgent after-hours support

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing multi-property portfolios
  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, or ClickUp
  • Experience with pricing tools (PriceLabs, Wheelhouse)
  • Background in boutique or hospitality operations

Why Join This Role

  • High ownership and autonomy
  • Direct impact on operations and guest experience
  • Opportunity to improve and scale systems
  • Work with a fast-growing, design-focused hospitality brand
