Job Description

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF ROLE: This role will be tasked with growing the Selecta Ice Cream offline and online business by working with our Field Sales, Channel, Aggregator, and Online customer partners to enhance availability, visibility, and activation plans in trade. Additionally, this role will be responsible for analyzing shopper, channel, product, area, and customer performance to identify opportunities for in-store business growth and increased online penetration in our big box and supermarket retailers.

JOB SUMMARY: This role will handle Shopper & Channel Marketing for the Modern Trade channels, in which he/she needs to:

SHOPPER & CHANNEL MARKETING

  • Work with the Ice Cream Business Units and Category Operations team in translating brand plans into Ice Cream programs in terms of availability, visibility and activation.
  • Analyze channel, brand, area, and customer performance to identify opportunities to grow the ice cream category
  • Use shopper and category growth drivers, channel insights, shopping missions and retail trends to sharpen plans
  • Partner with Field Sales in landing shopper and channel programs in-trade
  • Co-establish governance and rhythm with other Development Groups to ensure follow through of plans created
  • Complete post-launch evaluation to measure effectivity of total channel programs
  • Build, operate and transfer growth programs for designated channel
  • Directly reporting to the Senior Shopper and Channel Assistant Marketing Manager.

Essential Skills

  • Graduate of a Business or any related degree
  • Experience in Trade Marketing or Shopper/Channel Strategy function in an FMCG business is a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in Data Analytics and is familiar with the use of Power BI/AFO/SAP database tools
  • High-level data storytelling
  • Should be a team player and possesses a professional and mature demeanour
  • Can work well under tight deadlines
