The Ecommerce Expert will be responsible for the execution and day-to-day coordination of website & app tasks. The Ecommerce Coordinator role requires a holistic understanding of ecommerce operations and should be able to maintain effective relationships with both a range of internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the end-to-end product creation and configuration process in Shopify, maintaining a consistently high standard across two storefronts. This includes accurately entering product information, imagery, pricing, product tagging, HS codes, and metafields.
- Monitor product availability daily - draft or archive sold-out products and efficiently reintroduce returned stock.
- Coordinate and execute all product launches and previews on time, in line with the marketing calendar.
- Oversee general housekeeping of storefronts and apps, ensuring all content is accurate and up to date.
- Develop, build, and optimize product collections, landing pages, and SEO content following best practices to maximize visibility and customer engagement.
- Ensure products are merchandised and aligned with ongoing marketing campaigns by managing product placement, site navigation, and content.
- Optimize on-site search functionality, reviewing search analytics regularly to improve relevance and customer experience.
- Create, test, and disable discount codes and promotional offers, supporting marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Assist the Ecommerce Lead with user acceptance testing (UAT) and A/B testing for new website features, updates, and bug fixes.
- Manage weekly updates to key third-party tools and plugins including: Tapcart, Tolstoy, Search and Merchandising Tool
- Foster effective cross-department communication to support seamless ecommerce execution and align initiatives across all functions.
Qualifications and experience required
- Degree qualified in Marketing, Digital Ecommerce, or related fields.
- Proven experience with Shopify, including product uploads, content updates, and basic store management
- Solid understanding of core ecommerce principles and best practices.
- Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data entry, reporting, and simple formula use.
- Ideally experience within the apparel/retail industry
