Shopify Developer + UI/UX Designer DTC E-Commerce

We are a U.S.-based e-commerce company building premium DTC brands and are looking for a full-time Senior Shopify Designer & Developer.

This is a hybrid role. We need someone who can design high-converting storefronts in Figma AND build them properly in Shopify.

We are NOT looking for someone who only installs themes or uses page builders.

• Design premium, mobile-first Shopify pages in Figma
• Turn Figma designs into custom Shopify sections/pages
• Work with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Build and improve PDPs, landing pages, cart drawers and collection pages
• Implement bundle, subscription and promotional functionality
• Integrate Shopify apps and APIs when needed
• Optimize mobile UX, responsiveness, performance and CRO
• Maintain and improve our existing Shopify stores
• Troubleshoot bugs and QA your own work
  

• Strong Shopify / Liquid development experience
• Advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Strong Figma UI/UX skills
• Experience with premium DTC/e-commerce brands
• Excellent mobile-first design instincts
• Understanding of conversion-focused PDP and landing-page design
• Experience with Shopify APIs/custom apps is a major plus
  

$2,000–$3,000+ USD/month depending on experience and ability

Full-time, long-term position.

We are willing to pay more for someone who is genuinely exceptional at both development and design.

• Portfolio link — Send us links to 2–3 of the best Shopify stores you personally designed and/or developed. Briefly explain what you were responsible for on each project.
• Figma/UI work — Include a portfolio link to 1–2 Figma projects or portfolio examples showing your UI/UX design ability. Google Drive, Behance, Figma, personal portfolio links, etc. are fine.
• Loom video — Include a link to a short 2–3 minute Loom video showing us one of your Shopify projects. Walk us through either the code/theme or the Figma design and explain what you personally built.
• Technical experience — Tell us which parts of your previous Shopify projects involved custom Liquid, JavaScript, CSS, APIs or custom app work versus page builders/apps.
