Shopify and Digital Commerce Administrator
This role sits between e-commerce operations and performance marketing. It does not replace a senior media strategist. You make sure the store, feeds, events, assets, links, budgets, and reports are correctly configured so strategy can execute without operational failure.
What you will own
- Shopify administration: products, variants, collections, metafields, inventory rules, navigation, pages, redirects, discounts, gift cards, apps, staff permissions, and launch scheduling.
- Product data quality across title, description, price, compare-at price, SKU, barcode, size, color, material, images, video, SEO fields, shipping data, and market availability.
- Shopify Markets setup for approved countries, currencies, domains, languages, catalogs, pricing, availability, and content variations.
- Order, return, refund, fraud-review, fulfilment, and customer-service exceptions that require store administration.
- Meta commerce operations: catalog health, product sets, Commerce Manager, Facebook and Instagram channel status, Pixel and Conversions API event checks, landing links, UTMs, and campaign build support in Ads Manager.
- Google commerce operations: Merchant Center feed health, disapprovals, GTIN or MPN completeness, shipping and return settings, Google and YouTube channel status, GA4 linkage, conversion tracking checks, and Shopping or Performance Max campaign administration.
- Marketplace administration for channels approved by the company, including listings, variations, inventory, pricing, promotions, content compliance, order exceptions, returns, account health, and channel-specific deadlines.
- Campaign operations: naming, audiences, budgets approved by the owner, creative uploads, destination URLs, product sets, launch dates, exclusions, and quality assurance before activation.
- Weekly commerce report covering revenue, conversion, average order value, traffic, spend, return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost where available, feed errors, inventory risks, top and weak products, and actions required.
- Change log and release checklist for price, product, theme, feed, tracking, promotion, app, and marketplace changes.
- Approved AI tools for data cleanup, QA support, variation drafting, analysis, and documentation. Product facts, prices, campaign settings, and customer data still require human control.

- Run at least one product or campaign launch using the new checklist and change log.
- Document recurring Shopify, Meta, Google, and marketplace procedures.
Days 61 to 90
- Run routine store and channel administration without avoidable launch defects.

Evidence we need from you
- Two or more years administering Shopify for a consumer, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or retail business. Strong candidates with less experience and strong operating evidence will be considered.
- Hands-on work with products, variants, collections, metafields, discounts, apps, orders, returns, inventory, and Shopify Markets.
- Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Commerce Manager, catalogs, Pixel, and Conversions API diagnostics.
- Working knowledge of Google Merchant Center, Google Ads, Shopping or Performance Max, GA4, and conversion tracking.
- Experience with at least one marketplace such as Amazon, TikTok Shop, Zalora, Lazada, or another relevant channel.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort reconciling data across systems.
- Enough HTML and CSS knowledge to diagnose and make controlled content changes. Coding depth is not required.
- Clear written English, careful access handling, and disciplined change documentation.
Useful Additional Experience
- US e-commerce, sales tax configuration support, duties, or international selling.
- Feed-management tools, customer-service platforms, email or CRM systems, or inventory integrations.
- A/B testing, landing-page QA, SEO, merchandising, or lifecycle marketing operations.
- Fashion product data, sizing, imagery standards, and marketplace variation structures.
