Qualifications And Requirements
- At least high school graduate or vocational training in sewing, dressmaking, or tailoring.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in garment sewing or equivalent.
- Knowledge in garment construction and sewing techniques
- Skilled in operating industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, coverstitch, etc)
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow instructions and meet production deadlines
Duties And Responsibilities
- Sew garment parts according to production patterns, technical specifications and instructions.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure stitching quality, seam strength, and proper finishing.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
- Inspect own work for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of materials, tools and equipment
- Comply with company policies, safety rules, and quality standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors
