Job Summary

Responsible for producing garment samples based on design specifications, patterns, and measurement charts. Ensures accurate stitching, proper fit, and quality finishing to support product development and preparation for mass production.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Create garment samples based on approved designs, tech packs, and patterns.
• Interpret measurement charts, sewing instructions, and sample requirements.
• Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., single needle, overlock, flatlock) and other tools.
• Ensure correct stitching, proper fit, and quality output of garments.
• Perform revisions and adjustments based on feedback from designers or supervisors.
• Coordinate with pattern makers and production team regarding sample requirements.
• Check the quality of finished samples to ensure they meet specifications.
• Minimize material wastage and properly handle fabrics and trims.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Complete samples within required timelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate or Senior High School graduate (K-12).
• Experience as a sewer, sample maker, or in garment manufacturing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of sewing techniques and garment making.
• Skilled in using industrial sewing machines (single needle, overlock, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand patterns and measurement charts.
• Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work in a production or manufacturing environment.
