Job Description – ServiceNow ITSM Developer (ITSM + Integration + CMDB / Custom Application Development)

Job Title: ServiceNow ITSM Developer

Experience: 5–10 Years

Location:Manila

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ITSM, Integrations, and CMDB. The ideal candidate should be an individual contributor capable of designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. Experience in custom application development on the ServiceNow platform will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and related data models.
  • Develop custom applications and workflows using ServiceNow App Engine.
  • Create Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Build and maintain Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Approval Workflows.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules.
  • Good experience in ServiceNow Integrations (REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub).
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience in Service Catalog and Workflow development.
  • Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Custom Application Development using App Engine Studio.
  • Knowledge of ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
  • Experience with MID Server configuration and management.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM)
