Job Description: ServiceNow Consultant
Job Summary
The ServiceNow Consultant is responsible for developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform and supporting the implementation and enhancement of modules such as CSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, SecOps/TPRM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB, including ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities. The role includes development, configuration, integrations, and maintenance activities following best practices and collaboration with global teams.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow modules including CSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, SecOps/TPRM, ITOM/Discovery, ITAM/HAM/SAM, and CMDB.
- Create technical design documents, workflows, scripts, and unit test cases.
- Build platform components using JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
- Implement and support AI capabilities such as Virtual Agent, NLU, AI Search, Predictive Intelligence, and Now Assist.
- Perform platform maintenance including cloning, patching, and upgrades.
- Support integrations using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.
- Participate in testing, deployment activities, and minor enhancements.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of ServiceNow development or configuration experience.
- Experience configuring at least one specialization: GRC/IRM, SecOps/TPRM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, ITAM, or CMDB.
- Strong understanding of scripting and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, XML).
- Experience with REST or SOAP integrations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory.
- Preferred: CIS in CSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, SecOps, or ITOM.
Education & Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience implementing or configuring ServiceNow.
Technical Skills
- ServiceNow configuration (workflows, Flow Designer, UI policies, forms, catalogs).
- Experience in CSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB.
- Web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, JSON, XML.
- REST/SOAP integrations and authentication methods.
Education & Background
