Job Description:

The ServiceNow Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and governance of the CMDB. This role supports discovery, CI lifecycle management, data quality controls, and integrations to ensure reliable configuration data that enables ITSM, ITOM, and reporting. The analyst collaborates with IT teams to enforce CMDB standards, troubleshoot data issues, and continuously improve configuration management processes.

Required Skills

Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Configuration Management

Knowledge of CI classes, relationships, and lifecycle management

Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and data integrations

Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem)

Ability to analyze and improve CMDB data quality and reconciliation rules

Experience with CMDB governance, audits, and compliance

Basic scripting and reporting skills in ServiceNow (Business Rules, Scripts, Reports)

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
