Required Skills

• 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years as a ServiceNow Architect.
• Deep expertise in multiple modules such as:
• ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, HRSD, ITAM, SAM, CSM
• Strong scripting and development knowledge (JavaScript, Glide API, UI/UX, Service Portal).
• Hands-on experience designing complex integrations (REST, SOAP, API management).
• In-depth understanding of CMDB architecture, data models, service mapping, and CI relationships.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
• Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Ability to create high-level and detailed architectural diagrams and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — Required
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — Highly preferred
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Strategy

• Define the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, roadmap, and governance model.
• Lead architectural design for new modules, applications, and integrations.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
• Recommend platform optimization, upgrades, and consolidation opportunities.

Solution Design & Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, ITAM, CSM, CMDB, or other ServiceNow product suites.
• Design end-to-end solutions including workflows, data models, UI, integrations, and automation.
• Lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into robust technical designs.
• Review and approve technical deliverables, integration patterns, and coding standards.

Integration & Automation

• Architect integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Server, and 3rd-party connectors.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure integration frameworks.
• Drive automation across processes using Flow Designer, orchestration, and scripting.

Governance & Best Practices

• Establish and enforce ServiceNow governance, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee configuration management, update sets, DevOps processes, and release management.
• Ensure platform performance, stability, and security are maintained.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Guide and mentor development teams (developers, admins, functional consultants).
• Work with PMs, business analysts, and product owners to define and prioritize backlog.
• Communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
