The Service Technician / Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, especially company trucks. This role includes diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive or mechanical repair is preferred
- Proven experience as a mechanic (automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanic
- With a valid driver's license
