Company Description: BalayWorks is a local home-services marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers for everyday household repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and technical services. The platform helps homeowners and residents easily find local professionals for services such as air conditioning cleaning and repair, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, handyman services, home cleaning, CCTV installation, and WiFi/networking. BalayWorks focuses on making the process of finding reliable home-service providers more convenient, organized, and accessible. The company also supports independent local providers by helping them become discoverable to more potential customers in their area. BalayWorks is initially building its network in Dumaguete City, Valencia, Sibulan, and nearby communities in Negros Oriental, connecting local professionals with households that need help.

Role Description: The Service Provider role is a full-time remote position focused on delivering high-quality home services to customers in the BalayWorks network. Day-to-day tasks may include completing scheduled service requests such as repairs, installations, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting in areas like air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, appliances, handyman work, home cleaning, CCTV, and WiFi/networking. Service Providers are expected to communicate clearly with customers, confirm job details, provide accurate time estimates, and ensure that work areas are left clean and safe after each job. The role involves updating job status through the BalayWorks platform, coordinating with the support team when needed, and maintaining a professional, courteous approach during all customer interactions. Service Providers are also encouraged to follow safety best practices, adhere to agreed service standards, and contribute to positive customer reviews and repeat business.

Qualifications

Practical skills and experience in one or more service domains (e.g., aircon cleaning/repair, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, handyman services, home cleaning, CCTV installation, WiFi and networking).
Ability to manage service requests, schedule appointments, and update job status using mobile or online tools.
Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and a focus on quality and reliability.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to assess issues and propose effective, safe solutions.
Commitment to safety standards and proper use of tools, equipment, and protective gear.
High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability in completing jobs and honoring agreed timelines.
Access to necessary tools, equipment, and a stable internet connection to coordinate work through the BalayWorks platform.
Previous experience in home services or technical trades is preferred; relevant certifications or licenses
