We are seeking a highly organized Service Dispatcher to provide coordination and
administrative support to the Service Department. The main role of this position is to
schedule, coordinate, and dispatch service technicians. As a Scheduler you must be able to
work cross-functionally across the organization and have exceptional interpersonal and
communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate technician schedules and prioritize dispatches based off urgency, skill set,
location, ext.
• Ensure that all maintenance, repair, commissioning, and other services are delivered ontime and within the scope
• Communicate with technician team for daily or weekly scheduled service appointments,
changes, or cancellations
• Work with Service and Project coordinators to ensure prompt and effective service
• Verify technicians have required work scope, parts, tools, customer contact, ext. to
guarantee efficiency on all dispatches
• Manage schedules for individual and team service appointments
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues proactively
• Maintain external ticketing systems when working with 3rd party vendors
• Mentor and assist with onboarding new staff in the service team
• Attend meetings and training as required to maintain proficiency
• Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of scheduling experience
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong customer service ethic
• Experience with software solutions to manage service deployment and efficiency, such as
Salesforce, Zendesk, and dispatching software(s)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, including outlook
• Experience in the EV Charging industry is a plus
