About the role

As the Service Delivery Senior Manager at Philtech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our critical cloud-based systems. In this full-time position based in Taguig City Metro Manila, you will lead a team of talented Site Reliability Engineers, driving the development and implementation of best-in-class site reliability engineering practices.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate the work of the Site Reliability Engineering team, providing technical leadership and mentorship
  • Design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and self-healing cloud infrastructure and systems
  • Develop and automate processes to proactively monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability and performance of our mission-critical applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal system uptime and responsiveness
  • Continuously research and implement the latest SRE best practices, tools, and technologies to drive innovation and improvement
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, playbooks, and training materials to support the team and knowledge transfer
  • Provide on-call support and incident management to ensure rapid resolution of production issues

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in site reliability engineering or senior-level systems administration roles
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing SRE teams
  • Has strong experience on Operations (Support-Incident Management and Maintenance-Problem Management)
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and distributed systems, with proficiency in tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus
  • Has experience on Releases and Development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
