Easmed is looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to ensure the reliable performance of our surgical and medical devices across healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for equipment installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support, working closely with customers and healthcare professionals. This role involves regular travel to customer sites and occasional outstation assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and perform installation, commissioning, and configuration of surgical and medical equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, safety inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimise equipment downtime.
- Support equipment setup for product demonstrations, workshops, and operating theatre cases.
- Assist Clinical Application Specialists during clinical cases when required.
- Prepare service quotations for preventive maintenance contracts and repair jobs.
- Participate in after-hours standby support on a roster basis, including service requests related to sleep products.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in installation and maintenance of hospital biomedical equipment.
- Experience with operating theatre, surgical, endoscopy, ENT, or other medical devices is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
- Detail-oriented and committed to service quality and safety.
- Willing to travel and support outstation assignments.
