The SEO Link Builder is responsible for developing and executing link-building strategies to improve website authority, search engine rankings, and online visibility, specifically within the gaming industry. This role focuses on acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant gaming-related websites, building relationships with industry partners, and supporting overall SEO campaigns. The SEO Link Builder works closely with the SEO and content teams to enhance organic traffic, strengthen the brands digital presence, and increase visibility within the competitive gaming market.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and reach out to high-quality websites for backlink opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with webmasters, bloggers, and industry influencers
- Implement link-building campaigns aligned with SEO strategy and goals
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles and report on campaign performance
- Collaborate with content creators to produce linkable assets
- Track and maintain a database of acquired links and outreach efforts
- Identify and disavow low-quality or harmful backlinks
- Stay updated on search engine algorithms and link-building best practices
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
- 13 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or link-building roles
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, backlink strategies, and Google guidelines
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research, outreach, and relationship-building abilities
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
