We are searching for a part time SEO specialist to analyze, audit, and optimize the content of our website in order to improve the overall page ranking in major search engines such as Google, Bing, etc. This person will be in charge of all SEO efforts to create a positive user experience, increase website traffic and drive volume and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Establish and create proper SEO guidelines for the rest of the team to follow
- Work with the marketing and engineering team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented in all aspects
- Manage and take charge of link building strategies to boost sales and improve search engine rankings
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Determine and monitor KPIs to understand SEO strategy performance
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
- Familiar with up-to-date trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- High attention to detail
- Ability to handle many ad hoc tasks and flexible work hours
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Docs
- Curiosity and a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
