Your Role
As a
Senior WordPress & Shopify Developer, you will:
- Build, maintain, and enhance high-end websites for luxury brands while ensuring exceptional user experience and visual excellence.
- Develop and customize Shopify and WordPress websites, implementing new features that align with premium branding and UX/UI standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize website performance, and ensure security, responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver pixel-perfect websites that meet business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Work within staging environments to test, validate, and deploy website updates while maintaining development best practices.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Proven experience developing and maintaining websites using Shopify and WordPress.
- Strong understanding of luxury or premium brand aesthetics, user experience, and attention to detail.
- Experience with custom theme development, website customization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Strong knowledge of website performance optimization, responsive design, SEO best practices, and web security.
- Excellent English communication skills and availability to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Experience with BigCommerce and Squarespace.
- Experience working in staging environments and following structured deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Business Profile, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern web development best practices.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
