We are seeking a Senior Web Development Manager to lead the strategy, design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our websites and web systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with project leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, proactive, and passionate about building websites and systems that drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Management
- Manage website projects from planning through launch, including new builds, redesigns, landing pages, migrations, and ongoing optimization.
- Build and maintain high-performing, conversion-focused WordPress websites.
- Oversee websites built with Elementor, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Bricks, and other WordPress tools.
- Manage templates, plugins, forms, custom fields, tracking, redirects, metadata, and integrations.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins, reusable components, internal tools, and automation systems.
Infrastructure & Technical Operations
- Handle site migrations, hosting changes, domain transfers, staging environments, and launch processes.
- Configure and manage DNS records, Cloudflare, CDN services, caching, backups, WAF rules, uptime monitoring, and website security.
- Troubleshoot issues related to websites, hosting, DNS, SMTP/email delivery, CRM integrations, automation workflows, and third-party platforms.
- Manage website access, permissions, credentials, and onboarding-related technical setup.
Performance & Optimization
- Review websites for quality, responsiveness, speed, usability, accessibility, SEO, and conversion performance.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, user experience, and lead generation performance.
- Use tools such as Screaming Frog to identify technical issues, redirects, broken links, metadata problems, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support SEO, PPC, conversion tracking, and lead attribution initiatives.
CRM & Automation
- Manage integrations with OnDeck CRM, GHL, JobTread, WhatConverts, Zapier, n8n, and similar platforms.
- Configure and troubleshoot forms, APIs, webhooks, automation workflows, and lead routing systems.
- Develop scalable processes and systems that improve operational efficiency and website management.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Coordinate with developers, content teams, account managers, and leadership.
- Establish development standards, documentation, workflows, and best practices.
- Prioritize projects and technical initiatives based on business goals and impact.
- Support continuous improvement across web development processes and systems.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of WordPress development experience.
- 3+ years managing website projects, developers, or technical operations.
- Strong experience with WordPress, Elementor, ACF, Meta Box, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with DNS management, Cloudflare, CDN configuration, caching, website migrations, hosting environments, and security best practices.
- Experience with CRM integrations, automation platforms, APIs, and tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, UX, CRO, and website performance optimization.
- Experience using Screaming Frog and technical website auditing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Laravel, React, headless WordPress, or custom web applications.
- Familiarity with Linux server environments and Git/version control workflows.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflow automation.
- Agency, lead generation, or home services industry experience.
