The Regional Visual Display Head is responsible for planning, creating and implementing design strategies to maintain the overall design aesthetics of the malls under his/her supervision. Provides design recommendations and solutions relevant to the mall's operational needs and ensures that all display installations stay within budget and adhere to the standards & brand image of the company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- CONCEPT, DESIGN, & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - generates ideas and develops concepts that reinforces the company's brand image and objectives; creates design solutions that have high visual impact resulting to higher sales, encourage business partners to invest, and increase customer foot traffic; coordinates with outside agencies regarding product sampling, material specifications, and technical feasibility.
- AVID/PROJECT MANAGEMENT - provides design directions and monitors proper implementation of display installations and ensures their timely completion and adherence to the company's standards; reviews final layouts, suggests improvement when necessary, and ensures that all installations stay within the allotted budget; conducts mall visits and ensures that all deployed dcor, props, and other collateral are in optimum condition. Recommends repair or replacement, whenever necessary
- BUDGET MANAGEMENT - reviews budgets such as the annual, mall opening's pre-operating, special projects and strategically recommends corrections based on company's direction, and ensures that all expenses stay within the approved budget; implements business process initiatives, systems improvement or other programs/activities that result to significant process efficiency and/or cost savings
- ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS - attends meetings and collaborates with other departments on upcoming projects and mall requirements; conducts competitor checks, develops and recommends strategies to achieve competitive advantage; reviews and approves all necessary documents and makes proactive corrections; approves timekeeping forms; performs other duties that may be assigned to the position
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years managerial experience in any design-related field, preferably Visual Merchandising
- Graduate of Fine Arts, Interior Design, or any design-related field
- Proficient in drawing, space planning and project management
- Knowledgeable in drawing or illustration program, or 3D rendering software
WORK LOCATION
- Candidates must be willing to be assigned at SM City Cebu and willing to be travel as needed.
