About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in video editing and will play a key role in producing high-quality content for our YouTube channel. This position requires proficiency in Adobe Premiere, an in-depth understanding of efficient rendering workflows, and the ability to optimise export settings for seamless video production.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Edited long-form YouTube content with a focus on creative storytelling, visual appeal, and technical precision.
- Manage and improve video rendering workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality exports.
- Deliver a minimum of 3–4 minutes of fully edited long-form video content per working day, while maintaining Freedom's quality standards.
- Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to independently generate fresh editing concepts, animation ideas, and engaging visual sequences.
- Optimise video rendering processes to minimise bottlenecks and enhance productivity.
- Configure export settings for different video formats, ensuring consistency and quality across platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to meet content deadlines and maintain a high standard of work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to video editing and rendering.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior editors on best practices and workflow improvements.
