Their work spans weddings, corporate productions, long-form storytelling pieces, and high-impact short-form content for digital platforms.
Deskwork Aotearoa is supporting the client in hiring two highly skilled Video Editors from the Philippines to join their remote post-production team.
Role Overview
We are looking for two experienced Video Editors capable of producing polished, high-quality long-form and short-form content, with strong capabilities in advanced color grading. You will collaborate closely with the client's New Zealand production team, receive raw footage, and deliver professionally edited content that aligns with their creative direction. This is a fully remote role requiring excellent communication, attention to detail, and consistent deadline management.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form content including events, interviews, corporate videos, and storytelling features.
- Create short-form social media content optimised for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Perform professional color grading for visual consistency and high-end output.
- Sync, clean, and enhance audio to improve production quality.
- Manage project files, organise media, and maintain structured editing workflows.
- Collaborate with the NZ production team to interpret creative briefs and meet brand requirements.
- Apply revisions efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Export and deliver final outputs according to client specifications and timelines.
Skills & Qualifications
- 35+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong capability in advanced color grading and visual enhancement.
- Excellent storytelling, pacing, and creative editing skills.
- Experience with multi-camera editing and LUT workflows.
- Ability to produce vertical, square, and landscape formats for social and commercial use.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable workstation and high-speed internet suitable for handling large video files.
Preferred
- Motion graphics or basic animation skills (After Effects).
- Experience working with international or NZ/AU creative teams.
- Familiarity with Western content and editing styles.
