Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior HR executive with deep regional or global leadership experience, strong operational discipline, and the ability to translate people strategy into measurable business outcomes across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • Master's degree or advanced HR certification preferred

Experience

  • 20+ years of progressive HR leadership experience across HR Business Partnerships, HR Operations, Learning and Organizational Development, Employee Engagement, and Total Rewards
  • Proven success in designing and implementing organization-wide people strategies that translate employee experience into organizational success
  • Regional or global HR experience with a background in leading HR teams across multiple geographies
  • Strong background in BPO, shared services, professional services, or tech-enabled operations
  • Experience leading HR in fast-growing organizations, including scaling teams, processes, and systems to support rapid workforce growth

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of influencing executive leaders and shaping organizational talent agendas
  • Expertise in designing and embedding values-driven culture programs that foster engagement, inclusion, and high performance
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization, including C-suite, senior leaders, and department heads
  • Capability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with clear outcomes and measurable success

Responsibilities

Strategic and Global Leadership

  • Define and lead the global vision for People & Culture aligned with broader People & Experience strategy, organizational growth, and long-term success
  • Provide strategic direction across global People & Culture functions, including People Business Partnerships, People Services, Learning and Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and Total Rewards
  • Partner with the Global Head of People and Experience to integrate People & Culture into the broader Experience and business strategy
  • Ensure consistent global people practices while enabling regional compliance and culturally relevant local implementation
  • Oversee the global People & Culture budget to ensure cost-effective delivery and strong return on investment
  • Provide insights and reports to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders on workforce trends, risks, and strategic initiatives
  • Establish and oversee global People & Culture operations aligned with strategic direction and operational requirements across regions
  • Develop and manage a scalable framework for establishing People & Culture teams in new geographies to support global expansion

Functional and Operational Oversight

  • Deliver an efficient and high-quality People & Culture service portfolio globally, balancing standardized solutions with local flexibility
  • Govern global HR policies and procedures to ensure fairness, compliance, and alignment with Emapta's flexible and client-focused business model
  • Monitor global People & Culture performance to ensure alignment with business outcomes and employee experience goals
  • Manage global people-related risks, including regulatory compliance, employee relations, and workforce challenges, through effective governance structures

Transformation and Innovation

  • Lead transformation initiatives in HR technology, service delivery, and people programs to support scale, innovation, and business agility
  • Own the strategic direction of the global HR technology ecosystem, ensuring scalability, integration, and data integrity
  • Strengthen Emapta's and its clients positions as employers of choice and destination workplaces in all operating markets
  • Leverage workforce insights and data analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement across global people practices
  • Identify and integrate global HR trends and innovations to keep the People & Culture function strategic and progressive

Global Talent and Organizational Development

  • Lead transformation initiatives that enhance workforce capability, modernize HR systems, and drive operational excellence in people service delivery
  • Oversee global organizational development and change programs that foster agility and high performance
  • Lead People & Culture strategy during major organizational changes, including M&A, restructuring, and crisis events
  • Drive leadership development and succession planning strategies to build a strong internal talent pipeline for critical roles
  • Lead strategic workforce planning to identify and close capability gaps aligned with future business needs
  • Evaluate and adopt best-in-class global HR tools, techniques, and innovations that add measurable business value

Culture, Inclusion, and Employee Experience

  • Cultivate a globally consistent, values-led culture that champions inclusion, equity, and psychological safety
  • Embed DEI strategies into global people practices, leadership frameworks, and talent initiatives
  • Lead a global employee listening strategy and engagement framework that uses feedback to enhance employee experience
  • Champion a culture of recognition, growth, and continuous feedback to drive retention, satisfaction, and high performance globally
  • Position Emapta as an employer of choice across markets by strengthening its employee value proposition, workplace culture, and people practices
  • Support Emapta's ESG commitments by integrating social and governance principles into people practices, workplace culture, and community engagement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align People & Culture initiatives with ESG objectives, ethical leadership, social impact, sustainability, and transparency

Stakeholder and External Engagement

  • Serve as a key partner to senior business leaders across regions, shaping global people strategies that support business performance and employee success
  • Represent People & Culture in global forums, client interactions, and executive leadership groups
  • Oversee complex or escalated global people matters, including legal issues and employee relations, in coordination with Legal, Compliance, and regional leadership teams
