Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting industry.

As a US Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in the delivery of tax compliance services for our North American clients. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives in the US tax landscape and possesses a deep understanding of federal tax requirements. Operating on a night shift to align with US business hours, you will collaborate closely with onshore teams to ensure that complex returns are filed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with the Internal Revenue Code.

Your Impact

  • Expert Tax Preparation: Lead the preparation of various U.S. tax returns, including Form 1040 (Individuals), Form 1065 (Partnerships), and Form 1120 (Corporations). You will ensure all filings adhere to applicable U.S. federal and state tax laws.
  • Workpaper Integrity: Maintain thorough, organized, and accurate workpapers that serve as the audit-ready foundation for every tax return. You will ensure that all supporting documentation is meticulously recorded and easily accessible for review.
  • Onshore Collaboration: Act as a technical extension of the U.S.-based team. You will participate in active collaboration to resolve complex tax issues, clarify client data, and ensure a seamless flow of information between the offshore production hub and the onshore firm.
  • Compliance & Research: Stay current with evolving U.S. tax legislation and IRS updates. You will apply high-level technical knowledge to mitigate risk and ensure that client filings reflect the most current tax standards and benefits.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage your portfolio of returns with high efficiency, especially during peak US tax seasons. You will utilize advanced tax software to streamline the preparation process and maintain the high quality of output expected by North American stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 3–5 years of solid tax preparation experience specifically in U.S. taxation. You must have a proven track record of handling 1040, 1065, or 1120 tax forms.
  • The Credentials: A Graduate of Accountancy (BS Accountancy is required; Management Accounting or Accounting Technology degrees are not applicable for this role). CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Technical Mastery: Experience with CCH Axcess and/or BNA Income Tax Planner is highly regarded. You are proficient in navigating complex US tax software and managing digital workpapers.
  • Communication & Time Management: Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with US-based counterparts. You possess exceptional time management skills, allowing you to meet strict IRS deadlines while working a permanent night shift.
  • The Mindset: A detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic. You take full accountability for the accuracy of your work and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive US financial data.
