The Senior UX Designer's responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Cross-Product UX Leadership and Design Direction
- Provide UX leadership across multiple digital products and initiatives rather than serving as the designer for a single product team.
- Set direction for UX approaches, methods, and design quality across teams to promote coherent and high-quality user experiences.
- Guide and support other UX designers in shaping user journeys, interaction models, interface patterns, and design decisions.
- Review design outputs across teams and provide constructive feedback to improve usability, consistency, and overall design quality.
- Help teams navigate ambiguity, frame design problems effectively, and make sound user-centered design decisions.
- Promote convergence across product teams so that similar problems are solved in consistent ways where appropriate.
Design Systems and Shared Experience Standards
- Lead the development, adoption, and continuous improvement of a unified design system, reusable component library, and shared UX patterns for use across product teams.
- Define and maintain standards for interaction patterns, visual consistency, accessibility, and design documentation to reduce fragmentation across products.
- Drive adoption of shared design patterns and reusable components across teams to avoid duplication and inconsistent user experiences.
- Identify gaps, overlaps, and design drift across products, and lead efforts to improve coherence across the portfolio.
- Work with engineering, architecture, and product teams to ensure shared design standards are practical, implementable, and sustainable.
Coaching, Enablement, and Design Practice Maturity
- Mentor and support UX designers through design critiques, working sessions, feedback, and practical guidance.
- Help strengthen design capability, ways of working, and UX maturity across the team.

- Share good practices, methods, tools, and reusable approaches that improve the effectiveness of design work across initiatives.
- Encourage consistent application of user research, usability validation, accessibility, and design documentation standards.
- Foster a collaborative and user-centered design culture across delivery teams.
Requirement and Qualification
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience in UX, product design, or service design.
- Demonstrated experience working on enterprise, platform, or other complex digital systems.
- Strong portfolio showing UX strategy, interaction design, design systems, and user-centered problem solving.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, usability testing, accessibility, information architecture, and responsive design.
- Experience establishing, maintaining, or scaling design systems and reusable design patterns across teams.
- Familiarity with agile product delivery and collaboration with engineering teams.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to guide other designers and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct line authority.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- High attention to detail, while maintaining a strategic cross-product perspective
