Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable UI components using modern frontend frameworks, ensuring alignment with design specifications and user stories.
- Work within a multi-functional agile team to develop responsive, accessible, and performant web applications, following company standards and UI/UX best practices.
- Ensure consistent focus on quality by creating and executing automated frontend tests (unit, integration, and visual regression).
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality user interfaces.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and assist in resolving UI-related issues in production.
- Review the work of peers and junior developers, offering constructive feedback on code quality, performance, and adherence to frontend standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, retrospectives) to analyze requirements, assess complexity, and propose optimal UI implementation strategies.
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools to continually improve the user experience.
Essential Skills
- 8+ years of frontend/UI development experience (full stack exposure is a plus).
- Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS).
- Expert in one or more modern frontend frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Pinia, etc.).
- Proficient in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of secure coding practices in frontend development.
- Willingness to transition into Full Stack Engineering
Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience with UI testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Chakra UI, Tailwind CSS).
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for development and deployment workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
