- Lead the Treasury process automation and harmonisation agenda, identifying manual or fragmented processes and delivering practical improvements across reporting, reconciliations, controls and workflows.
- Define and track Treasury performance measures (forecast accuracy, straight-through processing, reconciliation breaks and manual touchpoints eliminated) benchmarked against market practice to drive a best-in-class operating model.
- Support TMS feasibility studies, including process mapping, requirements definition, data and interface specifications.
- Identify, pilot and scale AI and machine-learning use cases across Treasury (including cash-flow forecasting, payment and settlement anomaly detection, automated reconciliation, document extraction from bank confirmations and margin statements) with clear business cases and measured benefit, and deploy them responsibly: sound data lineage, human-in-the-loop approval for cash-moving output, model documentation and alignment to Group data, security and AI-usage policies.
- Design, build and maintain automation tools and data flows between Treasury, Accounting, bank and reporting systems using Excel/VBA, Power BI, Power Query and Python, including host-to-host and API connectivity.
- Oversee daily cash positioning, funding and payment processes, ensuring timely execution, clear approvals, complete audit trails and prompt escalation of exceptions.
- Strengthen payment controls and resilience across workflows, user access, mandates, signatory records and standing settlement instructions, covering segregation of duties, beneficiary and SSI validation, screening touchpoints, exception alerting and documented contingency for bank channel or system outage.
- Improve collateral and margining processes, including margin-call data, collateral movements, reconciliations and exception management with brokers, clearing houses and banks.
- Enhance liquidity, cashflow and working capital reporting, including scenario analysis that supports timely funding and cash-deployment decisions across the Singapore, London, Tokyo, Houston and Brisbane entities, covering FX settlement flows, intercompany funding, cash concentration and time-zone-driven cut-offs.
- Work with implementation partners, banks, TMS vendors and internal Technology and Data teams to challenge solution design (including AI and analytics capability within TMS, ERP and banking platforms), prioritise enhancements and deliver to agreed timelines.
- Manage bank relationship and account governance, including account opening and closure, KYC documentation, fee benchmarking and onboarding of new banking channels.
- Provide functional guidance, coaching and review to Treasury Operations and ARAP colleagues, building automation and data capability, embedding new processes through training and documentation, and giving cover and technical support across Treasury workstreams as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline, with more than 6 years of relevant experience in corporate Treasury, banking, financial operations or a similar data-intensive finance role.
- Demonstrable experience improving Treasury, finance or operational processes, including hands-on use of Excel/VBA, Power BI and Python. Candidates should be able to explain and demonstrate solutions they have personally built or maintained.
- Strong working knowledge of cash management, payments, reconciliations, funding or liquidity management, with a sound appreciation of operational controls and accounting interfaces.
- Experience with Treasury systems, ERP and bank platforms. Exposure to Kyriba (and/or other TMS), SUN, Horizon, IMOS, host-to-host connectivity and banking APIs would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to collateral, margining, derivatives operations or clearing is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with a disciplined approach to controls, data quality, documentation, user access and operational resilience.
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams, balancing day-to-day priorities with delivery of longer-term change initiatives.
