About the Role
As Sr. Training and Quality Manager, you will develop and deploy training curricula and quality measurement and assurance methodologies during scoping and initiation. You will hold the Asia TQM team to consistent implementation of client policies across every site.
The role reports to the AVP, AI/LLM Practice and works alongside the Global Training Manager, Global Quality Measurement Manager and Global Quality Assurance Manager on review, root-cause analysis and modification projects across different GenAI models.
What You'll Own
Quality Management and Performance Assurance
- Monitor the Asia TQM team regularly to ensure cohesive and consistent implementation of client policies across all sites
- Ensure performance metrics and direct root-cause-analysis documentation in the Partner Level Report for any quality or audit deficiency that resulted in a missed KPI
- Review QA methodologies regularly to keep them current and effective
- Prescribe the review and reporting methodologies for TQM-related KRAs and KPIs
Training Program Ownership
- Manage training program across planning, design, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation
- Oversee new hire training, coaching and mentoring so advising trainers apply instruction standards during onboarding and beyond
- Support trainer certification and re-education programs as needed
- Develop and monitor a repository of training materials separated by project, with all documentation in place for future client audits
Project Management Integration
- Integrate project management methodology into the TQM model of the GenAI/LLM Practice
- Develop and deploy training curricula and quality methodologies during the scoping and initiation stages of new work
- Ensure documentation, change management and process integration are practiced on every review, root-cause analysis and modification project
Global Collaboration and Escalation
- Support the Global Training Manager, Global Quality Measurement Manager and Global Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining team engagement throughout learning and training lifecycles
- Advise TQM Leads on project operations to ensure optimal training delivery to the team
- Collaborate with the Supply, Workforce, Analytics and Threshold (SWAT) Team on analysis of the data relations between assessment performance and actual project performance
- Liaise directly with Global Leads to define and deliver expected output and process across multiple projects and locations
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Education, Linguistics, or a closely related discipline. Advanced degree in English preferred (Master's or Ph.D.)
- 7+ years of operations or project management experience
- 5+ years of training management and quality management experience guiding diverse, cross-functional teams
- Has carried several live projects at once, each with its own client policies, quality standards and timelines
- Proven on short-term engagements and rapid ramps; redeploys to a new project or domain with little runway and reaches full standard quickly
- Trained, coached and held quality lines across geographies, time zones and cultures with distributed teams and global functional leads
Certifications
- Required: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Held and applied, with completed DMAIC projects the candidate can walk through and quantify
- Advantage: PMP or PRINCE2. Formal project management credential supporting the methodology integration part of the role
- Advantage: quality credentials. ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence
- Advantage: trainer credentials. A recognized train-the-trainer or instructional design certification
Technical Skills
- Language precision. English proficiency at or close to Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level C2, in writing and in speech.
- Writing and editing. Exceptional writing and editing skills alongside strong verbal communication
- Excel ability. Intermediate to advanced, including pivot tables, index matching, charts for visualizing data and text functions such as concatenate and textjoin to manipulate data
- Quality methodology fluency. Distinguishes quality measurement from quality assurance in practice; fluent in sampling design, calibration, audit trails and root-cause analysis
- Training lifecycle command. Can design, deploy and evaluate curricula end to end and defend the evaluation method, not only the content
- Analytical thinking. Robust analysis geared at developing effective solutions to proactively identified training and quality issues
