Senior Threat Hunter

JOB PURPOSE

Work with the Jr. Threat Hunter to proactively hunt for relevant and advanced threats within the network. Investigate security events in an effort to identify artifacts of a cyberattack. Perform digital forensics and log reviews.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Spearhead the hunting of cyber threats within the organization

Collaborate with relevant parties and partners on various cases, providing technical and investigative capabilities

Provide context & thorough analysis of cyber threats to ensure appropriate response

Work with Threat Intelligence to identify threats and recommend security controls

Supervise Jr. Threat hunter & Cyber Threat Detection analyst in line with the threat hunting activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related area of Information Security

At least 2-3 years of practical experience in IT Infrastructure/IT Audit and/or Information Security Operations preferably from financial services environment
