Senior Tekla Detailer

A multinational engineering and design firm is currently seeking for Sr Tekla Detailer (permanent) to be based at Makati City as part of its growing team for the Phil office.

Work duration: Mon-Fri (usual dayshift)

Set-up: Full time (onsite during probationary period; will be on hybrid once permanent)

Job Description

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for steel components, including beams, columns, and connections.

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements.

•Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.

• Ensure all drawings are compliant with industry standards and building codes.

• Coordinate with fabricators and contractors to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

• Utilize TEKLA software to create and modify detailed drawings.

• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.

• Assist in the estimation of project costs and materials needed.

Job Requirements:

• Working to Australian Standards

• Cutting-edge design skills with the natural ability and initiative to solve problems

• Familiarity with one or more of the following packages: Tekla Structures, MicroStation/Aecosim/Open Buildings Designer SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Open Plant & Isometrics manager, Navisworks

• Materials handling or process plant detailing experience

• Technical experience or exposure in the mining sector
