Main Activities and Responsibilities: (i n clu d in g bu t n ot limited to )

— Prepare e n gineering models and drawings in acc o rda n ce with the c o mpa n y re q uire m e n ts and sta n dards .

— Liaise with other Technicia n s, Engineers as well as other WSP offices r e g arding w o rk issues and deadlines .

— Check / ensure drawi n gs c o mply with specific Pr o ject Design Brief Instructions a n d all details a r e bei n g carried out

c o rrectly to WSP Standards and QA Pr o cedures .

— May function as Team Lead tec h nicia n a nd ma n age the modelling a n d detailing aspects on projects incl u ding planning and

c o ntrolling of delivera b les, resource mana g e m e n t and mai n taining c o mmunicati o n between e n gineering and drafting staff on the project.

— Supervise drawi n g issues, prioritize w o r k packa g es and liaise with the docume n t controller to e n sure issue dates and work

packa g es are se n t on time and to the c o rrect contacts .

— Prepare reports on project statu s , estimate w o rk c o mpletion target s , resource allocatio n and lea v e ma n age m e nt for the

a p proval of the BIM Coordinator/ Ma n a g er .

— Trai n other staff in technical aspects, good practices and e n sure staff is proficie n t i n the use of CAD/BIM software .

— Ensure w o rk is bei n g carrie d out t o a p propriate Codes o f Practice .

— Pr o vide feedback and input t o i mprove de p artmental sta n dards, w o rking met h ods a n d guidelines .

— Carry out all functions in accorda n ce with the approved proce d ures o f the Mana g eme n t System .

— Eval u ates staff performa n ce in line with HR procedure s

— Comply with all role specific SHEQ O b ligatio n s as re q uired .

— Re p ort and liaise with the BIM Coordinat o r/ Mana g er on all tec h nical a n d personnel issues .

— Other duties as directed by BIM Coordinator / Manager

Qualifications (Mi n imum a nd D e sira b le):

— Technical c o mpete n ce c o mmensurate with a Senior BIM Tec h nicia n s role.

— A Bachel o r's De g ree in Civil Engineering, Arc h itecture or any related course

— K n owle d geable in Re v it Str u ct u res & A u toCA D

— Skills in D y na m o a n d c o ding is a plu s

— Pr o ficie n t i n Windows a n d Microsoft Application s

— Mana g e m e n t ability relati v e to ma n a g eme n t o f w o rkloa d , systems a n d junior staff .

— A b ility to c h eck doc u mentation acc u ratel y and in a timel y ma n ner .

— Experie n ce in struct u ral modelling a n d detailing of rei n forced c o ncrete and steel struct u re s

— Experie n ce in BIM 3 60, BIM 3 60 docs Project wise

— Skills in c o ding is a plus

— Pr o ve n a b ility in building the technical capa b ility of others a n d tra n sferring technical e x pertise within the tea m .

— Acti v e participation in IQBE init i atives and Disci p line Acti o n Plans. Inputs to technical sta n dard and protocols .

— Working knowle d ge of WSP s orga n isational capa b ility a n d how to access it .

— Working knowle d ge of systems, procedures and practices .

— Working knowle d ge of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
