Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP), a leading renewable energy company in the Philippines specializing in high-quality and cost-effective solar energy and energy efficiency solutions, is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing commercial team.
The Senior Technical Sales Engineer takes the lead in technical sales for Commercial & Industrial solar projects by preparing detailed proposals, validating designs with engineering, and providing financial and technical analysis to support deal closure. Handles complex client requirements, including PPA-based opportunities, and contributes expertise in advanced solar and storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead client discussions to gather requirements and translate them into technical and commercial inputs.
● Prepare and present proposals, including system specifications, pricing, and financial models.
● Conduct site assessments and data analysis.
● Coordinate with engineering teams for system design validation and provide clarifications during bidding/negotiations.
● Deliver presentations and address complex client inquiries.
● Provide financial and technical input during contract negotiations.
● Stay current on solar technologies, storage integration, codes, and industry regulations.
● Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering
● Registered Electrical Engineer is an advantage
● Minimum of 3 years experience in solar technical sales
● Strong knowledge of PV system design, interconnection requirements, codes, and storage integration.
● In-depth knowledge of PPA structures and solar financing models.
● Proven track record in supporting and closing C&I solar deals.
● Strong negotiation, client management, and presentation skills.
● Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
● Detail-oriented, and analytical.
● Willing to travel as required.
