This person will support the direct tax, withholding tax and transfer pricing compliances for the Group's operations in select countries in the APAC region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage corporate tax and transfer pricing filings and deadlines in the region
- Coordinate with financial controllership or other functions to collate the relevant information
- Efficiently manage corporate tax payments
- Liaise with external tax vendors and review their work
- Provide support in the event of a tax audit / scrutiny / appeal / controversy etc.
- Handle tax accounting, provisions and reconciliations,
- Support any M&A activity and related post-merger integrations,
- Review client / vendor contracts and advise on tax implications, improvement to tax language as and when requested by business / procurement teams
- Support on local and international tax planning projects
- Other corporate tax or TP related matters, as may arise

Qualifications
- Bachelors / Masters of Commerce / International taxation, ACCA / CPA / Chartered accountant or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in corporate tax management. Experience in managing regional taxes in a comparably sized MNC will be given a preference.
- Prior tax accounting / auditing experience at Big 4 will be an advantage
- Able to work in an ERP platform-enabled environment (Peoplesoft, Workday, SAP etc),
- Exposure to managing tax audit representations
- Ability to download, analyze and present large volumes of data required for compliance management or decision making
- Advanced MS office skills
- Experience in using tax technology tools (e.g., OneSource, Hyperion, CorpTax, etc) and / or their implementation will be an advantage.
- Willing to work in Taguig office
