Senior Tax Accountant

Vacancy: Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Reviewer

Location: On Site (with possibility of remote)

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Reviewer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys both technical tax work and mentoring junior team members.

As a key member of the tax department, you will act as a technical leader, reviewing work, supporting staff development, and helping drive quality and efficiency across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex tax returns, including: Individual (1040), Partnership (1065), S-Corporation (1120S), Corporate (1120)
• Review tax returns and workpapers prepared by junior staff
• Review trial balances and financial statements
• Prepare and review adjusting journal entries
• Identify potential issues and clear diagnostics before final review
• Ensure compliance with firm standards, deadlines, and quality requirements

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of U.S. public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
• Expertise with Individual, Partnership, S-Corp, and Corporate returns
• Ability to independently manage complex engagements from start to finish
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA candidate preferred
• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based accounting firms
• Experience with: CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, QuickBooks Online, Canopy, Monday.com
