The Opportunity

We are after a Senior Accountant in AUS Tax to assist with a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the financial livelihood of high-growth tech and online companies who are changing the world.

We are looking for smart CPAs (or aspiring) with 3-4+ years of public practice experience (as part of a BPO or directly with AUS accounting firms). You have to love learning and progress. You'll succeed by applying a diverse level of hands-on experience and driving the tax compliance wellbeing of your clients.

The day-to-day

• Preparing Income Tax, GST, PAYG, FBT & BAS returns for a variety of companies, trusts and some individuals
• Get support with ongoing professional development through coaching, support & ongoing training.
• Helping drive the firm's overall budgeted billing and lodgment targets, including actively scoping billing, scope creep and project work opportunities
• Supporting with some accounting, taxation, and business advisory research and technical advisory work for clients
• Helping create an amazing client experience
• Helping resolve client queries & matters within our SLA timeframes
• Occasionally assisting with technical tax research & articles for the firm
• Assist with team member performance evaluations and appraisals
• Participate in online seminars, team huddles and client/staff training and socials
• Other tasks as needed (or volunteered for)
