Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, client-facing Systems Engineer with strong troubleshooting and end-user support expertise in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, professionalism, and the ability to work under minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks. This role requires hands-on systems experience, direct engagement with clients, and the ability to provide responsive support. The candidate will leverage systems solutions to implement, support, and optimize our clients enterprise environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, install, configure, and support systems technologies including servers, storage, Active Directory topologies.
  • Provide consulting to client-based on integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.
  • Work with various engineering teams to implement advanced business solutions to meet customer needs in critical environments.
  • Work efficiently to track hours against client agreements, delegating work as appropriate and maintaining agreement profitability.
  • Report to team leads with work progress on a regular basis as required.
  • Manage client tickets and provide detailed documentation to required parties.
  • Participate in provided technical training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Participate in all required activities as scheduled by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Intune with mobile device experience
  • Strong MFA and or Single-Sign On
  • 3 - 4 years of Systems Engineering
  • 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience with M365
  • Knowledge of MS Windows Server Platforms and Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining systems documentation.
  • Experience with change management, product life cycles, and customer service.
  • Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain industry standard professional-level certifications such as below:
  • Cloud solutions: M365, Azure, AWS
  • Virtualization: VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V
  • Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure
  • Microsoft: Windows Server, MCSA
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems/computer science or 1+ years applicable help desk role preferred.
  • Experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
  • Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
