About the Role

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Senior Supply Chain & Operations Manager to step in as a true Builder-Operator. This role requires a rare blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution.

You will initially start as a sole contributor—leading hands-on, day-to-day tasks and laying the foundational supply chain architecture. As the brand progresses and scales, you will move into a strategic leadership lens and build out your own operational team. You will take full ownership of the entire supply chain lifecycle, stretching from China to the USA, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine

What you'll do

  • Function Leadership: Own the entire end-to-end supply chain lifecycle, serving as the primary strategist, executor, and problem-solver for all things sourcing and logistics
  • Sourcing & NPD: Manage New Product Development (NPD) cycles from concept to launch, including vetting suppliers, negotiating MOQs and COGs, overseeing product testing, and meticulously documenting product data
  • Dual-Model Fulfillment: Oversee outbound logistics and workflows for both dropshipping (DTC) and in-house fulfillment models
  • Inventory & Planning: Lead weekly demand and supply planning sessions to maintain optimal stock. Manage Short Shelf Life (SSL) inventory and mitigate Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) stock to optimize working capital
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Act as the primary point of contact and manage relationships/performance for manufacturers, sourcing agents, shipping partners, and warehouses across China and the USA
  • Daily Operations: Handle day-to-day stock purchasing, daily order processing management, inbound delivery scheduling, returns management, and all general warehousing processes
  • Regulatory & Quality: Define global regulatory requirements, manage all necessary compliance documentation, and lead quality issue resolutions to ensure products are fit for purpose

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in end-to-end (E2E) supply chain processes, with a heavy focus on fast-paced sourcing
  • Industry Background: Proven experience within the e-commerce/DTC consumer goods sectors
  • Global Logistics Expertise: Deep experience working directly with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), manufacturers, and agents in China and the USA
  • Start-up DNA & Mastery of Ambiguity: A get things done attitude. You thrive in fast-paced environments where processes are still being built, and you can make sound decisions even when information is incomplete
  • Leadership Track Record: Proven ability to work initially as an independent sole contributor while possessing the past people management experience necessary to recruit and build out a team later
  • Core Skills: Expert negotiation skills, independent accountability, relentless prioritization to juggle complex projects, and confidence managing intricate SKU portfolio
  • Languages: Fluent written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin is a strong added bonus
